Departments of Posts India,Andhra Pradesh Postal Circle,Hyderabad has released notification at indiapost.gov.in for recruitment of Meritorious Sports persons in the Department of Posts in the cadre of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Postman and Multi-Tasking Staff.Applications are invited from Sports-persons in various disciplines up to 21.06.2015.

Scale of Pay :
Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant - Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.2400 plus admissible allowance
Postman - Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.2000 plus admissible allowance
Multi Tasking Staff - Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.1800 plus admissible allowance
Age Limit : Should be between 18 to 27 years as on 21st June 2015.Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for OC,8 years for OBC and 10 years for SC/ST candidates.
Education Qualification:
1.Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant - Passed in 10+2 Standard or 12th class pass from recognised University/Board with English as a compulsory subject.Must have local language of the State of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana States or Hindi as a subject at least in Matriculation or equivalent.
2.Postman - Candidate should be Matriculation Passed from a recognised Board/University
3.Multi Tasking Staff - Candidate should be Matriculation/ITI Passed from a recognised Board/University
Selection Procedure : Selection will be made on educational and sports qualification.
Application Fee : All candidates shall pay Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) as application fee which should be deposited in any Post Office in A.P. Postal Circle under UCR only and submit original receipt along with application.Candidates of other states may enclose an Indian Postal Order of value of Rs 100/- (Rupees One hundred only) in favour of Chief Postmaster General, A.P. Circle, Hyderabad-500001.
How to Apply : Applicants may download prescribed form from A.P.Postal Circle web site www.appost.in and send dully filled in form along with duly attested photo copies of required documents and certificates to the Chief Postmaster General, AP Circle, Hyderabad-500001 through Speed Post /Registered Post Only on or before 21st June 2015.
